Who we are
A3 Advisory is the trading name of Abrams Brothers Ltd, trading as A3 Advisory (company number 13778604), registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: hello@a3advisory.co.uk.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, role, email, phone, postal address.
- Verification data: date of birth, nationality, copies of photo ID and proof of address, and the results of sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening — collected only from clients and beneficial owners when we are engaged.
- Business and transaction information: details of your business, its ownership, finances and the proposed transaction.
- Website data: form submissions, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) processed by our hosting provider.
- Prospecting data: for business owners and buyers we approach, publicly available information such as Companies House filings, company websites and professional networking profiles, and information from licensed business-data providers.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide our services: performance of a contract, or steps at your request before entering one.
- To verify identity and screen for sanctions and financial crime: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- To identify and approach businesses and buyers that may be relevant to a transaction: legitimate interests in operating a corporate-finance advisory business. You may object at any time.
- To keep records of our engagements: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
- To run and secure our website: legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
- Prospective buyers or sellers in a transaction, only under a confidentiality agreement and with your approval of the disclosure plan.
- Professional advisers working on a transaction (lawyers, accountants, tax advisers) under their own duties of confidence.
- Service providers who process data on our instructions: cloud hosting, email, secure data rooms, identity-verification and business-data providers, and AI-assisted research tools. We do not place identifying client information into public generative-AI services.
- Regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required by law.
- We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some service providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Engagement records, including identity-verification data: at least six years after the engagement ends, to meet legal, insurance and regulatory obligations.
- Prospecting data: reviewed at least every 24 months and deleted if no longer relevant.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. To exercise a right, email hello@a3advisory.co.uk. We will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Our website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may set a functional cookie; forms are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify.
Changes
We will post any changes to this notice on this page. Version 1.0, September 2026.
